RCA is an engaged community where parents and teachers collaborate together in the students’ education. Students attend school on campus Monday through Thursday and are guided in lessons by parents at home on Friday. Our balanced calendar provides margin for today’s busy families. We believe that the best possible education requires not only the involvement, but also the leadership of parents and families.

True education is more than ensuring that a student grasps the subject material of the class. You may be wondering what we mean by, “growth-based”. While academic performance will always be a part of the classroom setting, our primary focus is to see growth in each individual child. Of course the aim is for all students to perform to the best of their academic abilities; however, the filter is to measure overall growth, not just grades.

At RCA, a biblical worldview is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that true learning goes beyond mastering academic facts. We want every student to see how each subject area connects to God and His word. From academic classes to lunch and recess, we know every area of life teaches us something about the nature of God and the world He created.

Many schools prioritize teaching academic subjects to children, rather than recognizing the students themselves should be the focus of the classroom. At our school, we believe that your children and their needs are our primary focus. Academics serve as our avenue of discipleship, to guide their spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional, relational, and social growth.

Our Discipleship Model of education centers on every child knowing Jesus and knowing themselves. We aim to cultivate a relational walk with each child and family as we believe that discipleship is a way of life, not an event or a program.

At RCA, we believe accountability and personal responsibility go hand-in-hand. Personal responsibility requires forming healthy habits and choosing self discipline. Accountability, within the community, helps students learn how to “own their part” because we understand that every individual contributes to shaping culture.
